Many critical aspects of enzyme-mediated cell isolation methods are not explicitly described in scientific publications. This unwritten knowledge is passed to others during “training sessions,” troubleshooting problems with colleagues, or in ad hoc discussions during scientific meetings.
This workshop focuses on key challenges for isolating human islets from organ donors or chronic pancreatitis patients, hepatocytes from unused donor organs, or adipose stromal vascular fraction cells from lipoaspirate.
The first 25 minutes will have experts provide a 5-minute summary of challenges associated with isolating each specific cell type. The remainder will be a breakout, round table discussion session where each expert will guide the discussion at each table.
The goal is for you to get answers to technical questions or gain additional insight from the experts or your colleagues who contribute to the discussion.
